I hate to admit it but I am a creature of habit. Every year I book one of the all inclusive vacations to Mexico and just sit back and enjoy myself for a week or two in the cold winter months. This year I am going to try something different, although I am certainly not going to give up my warm tropical holiday! This year I am going outside of my norm and am venturing into the beautiful blue of the Caribbean waters. Although I really will miss Mexico, I am actually not traveling too far away from my favorite spot and am getting a great value for my money.

I have decided to hit the warm, sunny beaches of Cuba and have actually already booked one of the all inclusive vacations to Cuba, more specifically I am going to focus on the area around Holguin. This beautiful resort and new tourism area has over 60km of beaches, so I am sure I can find a quiet spot to rest, relax and read a good book while enjoying the sun and the surf. In addition I am going to try my hand a parasailing, taking a trip on the catamaran around the area and also planning on at least a day’s trek into the jungle located inland of the coastal area.
