My husband and I decided to go to Fiji for our honeymoon.  After much discussion we also decided to have a Fiji wedding to go with our Fiji honeymoon. A destination wedding seemed like the ideal thing to do for us as a couple.  We both have pretty adventurous family and friends that decided to join us for our wedding.  The location could not have been more amazing.  We were married right off of the ocean with the beautiful expanse of sea extending right out in front of us.  We had a small group of friends and family there to celebrate our day with us.

The Fiji honeymoon was the best part.  Since we were already in Fiji, all of the travel and preparation for a vacation was already taken care of. My new husband and I were not tired from travel and the stress of travel.  It really was the best decision we had made to have a destination wedding.  I know that sometimes destination weddings do not work out because of the expense of travel for friends and family, but we were very fortunate that our friends and family are in good enough places to have been able to join us on our very special day.
