Many large businesses order temporary fences for use during their big events and sales. Those businesses who do make this purchase (as opposed to just renting the temporary fencing) should know that it’s important to think about the bases that are on the fences that you order.

The first thing to look at is whether or not the bases of your temporary fence panels are replaceable. Temporary fence bases are not as durable as the fences themselves. With replaceable bases, you can simply replace the base as needed and keep the fence itself for a long time. This can save you a great deal of money in terms of replacement costs if the temporary fencing is something that you plan to use often over a long period of time.

Even if you don’t need a replaceable base, you will want to look at the base of any fence that you order. You want to get a base that is wide as opposed to one that is narrow. That’s because a wider base is going to give you a sturdier fence which helps the fence to do its job. Make sure, however, that the base isn’t so wide that it will prevent easy storage of your temporary fencing. Wide, removable bases may be the best solution to consider when buying temporary fencing.
