A great friend of mine recently started looking at florida new homes for sale. She got all excited because she had been looking at options for using orlando custom home builders or tampa custom home builders to create her dream home. The budget that she had set aside for purchasing a new home just barely covered the expense of these builders but it would cover it and the idea of this thrilled her.

I hate to be a party pooper but I was worried about my friend so I decided to go ahead and point out the fact that she was going to be left with no money after purchasing the home if she did it this way. She didn’t seem concerned about this. But then I reminded her that the new home is considerably bigger than her old home. This means she’ll need to purchase new furniture and other items for the new home. She also has to pay the cost of moving.

My friend wasn’t exactly thrilled to have this pointed out to her. In fact, she was mad at me for awhile because of it. But in the end, it worked out. She re-worked her budget so that she could have some money left over after the purchase of a Florida home. She then spoke with the custom home builders about ways to reduce the cost of building so she could still have basically the home that she wanted.
