If you’re going to bother to spend the money on a piece of gold jewelry right now then you might want to make sure that you’re not getting swindled. There are sellers out there who are passing off fake gold as real gold and making off with a lot of money.

Here are five ways to tell if the gold that you have or want is real:

1. See if it is magnetic. Bring a small magnet with you to the store and hold it up to the gold item that you want to buy. If it’s magnetic then it’s not gold since this metal doesn’t react to magnets.
2. Rub it against a ceramic plate. If the seller will let you do this then do it. Real gold will leave a gold mark on the plate. A mark of any other color means that it’s not real gold.
3. Look for a single color throughout the piece. Real gold will be the same color all around. Fake gold will have areas of discoloration.
4. Check the density of the gold. This is a bit more complicated but it works. Learn more about gold density.
5. Get it appraised. Maybe you already have the gold item and want to know if it’s real so you can sell the gold for cash. If so then take it to a pawn shop or appraiser and they’ll quickly tell you whether or not it’s real.

Can you think of a celebrity who is selling jewelry today? Most people can come up with at least one name. That’s because there are a lot of celebrities that are selling their jewelry these days. This happens in a few different ways:

• Celebrities want to create their own designs. It’s very common for celebrities to want to start a fashion line or jewelry line these days.
• Celebrities promote specific products for pay. Celebrities aren’t ashamed to do a commercial spotlight to sell jewelry for someone who will pay them a lot of money to do so.

• A few celebrities enjoy buying and selling jewelry. They like shopping vintage and trading in what they have for something new when they can. They’re just like the rest of us in this way; they just happen to have jewelry that’s nicer than ours!
• Som jewelry designers become celebrities. For a few people, the situation has occurred in the reverse. The designer has been selling jewelry for years but starts to get very popular with famous people and ends up becoming a celebrity herself.

It has been a long time since we moved into our house and we have loved every moment here.  But our family has grown since we bought it just five years ago, and we just don’t have enough room anymore.  So, we have been in talks with a Tampa FL realtor and he will be going to show us some homes today.

Sadly this isn’t the first Tampa Florida realtor that we have dealt with.  In fact, he would be the fifth one, but we are happy with our choice.  The ones before him were more concerned about the commission that they were going to make instead of our needs.  But we were not afraid to pass up on the other ones and find one that was going to work for us – not for their paycheck.

So we are going to look at five properties today and there are a couple that look really promising.  We wanted to get a home with a garage (since we are used to one already) and five bedrooms, so our selection has been a little more limited than we would have liked, but I am looking forward to checking out the ones we have on our list.

Maybe today will be the day we find our new home – I can’t wait!

Designer clothes aren’t just for adults anymore. Kids as young as preschool age can wear designer clothing. Why would you want to buy designer brands for your kids?

Here are some good reasons to buy designer kids’ clothes:

• They last longer than other clothing. Designer clothes are designed to last. That means that you get more wear for your money. In the end, this can mean that you save money when buying designer clothes.
