So, I just got off the phone with my cousin. He’s going to be getting married in a few weeks, and he wants me to be in charge of creating a playlist for their wedding reception. Everybody knows I have a music collection that’s way too big for its own good; so, this isn’t too surprising.

However, I’ve never created a music playlist for a wedding before. Their weddings in Michigan at a castle. It’s definitely a beautiful venue so I don’t want to ruin it with bad music. My question to you is-what songs do you recommend I play?

Let me also mention I refuse to play the typical cheesy songs like “Macarena” or anything involving a chicken dance. I’m not letting this turn into one of those destination weddings. Most of the people at the wedding will be young. So, I want to keep it somewhat new and unique.

Thankfully, I have a few weeks to come up with this playlist. Please, if you have any suggestions of some good songs to include, drop me a line.
