Great post. As someone that used to be actively involved in real esate sales, I know firsthand the difference between the final sales price a home may have depending on whether or not it was staged.

I mean, the gap is drastic. For the investment you put into staging your home, you have the potential of making that back several times over.

What I don’t understand is why so many people are put off by the home staging process. My opinion is that this is due to just simple laziness.

Properly staging a home is hard work. But the monetary payoff in higher selling prices should make home staging an obvious option.
