Working towards a Bachelors Degree in Humanities offers students the opportunity to explore multiple disciplines. This is a very useful degree for any student who is undecided on a major and an excellent complimentary course of studies for those who want to enhance and broaden their research and analytical thinking skills, which will be useful in any career. I have found that by supplementing my online nursing degree with a degree in humanities has helped me more familiar with different cultures and methods of doing various things. This is important because as a practicing nurse I meet a lot of different people from all around the world and being familiar with different cultures helps me to better relate to the patients I am treating.
