An Interesting Breed - the Contractor

There’s a lot of interest surrounding the contracting profession. I would say I don’t understand why, but if you meet the contractors I have, you will see that there is definitely something unique about them and how they approach their jobs. I often have lunch with the Hartford pool builders and New Haven pool contractors in the area. I’m on the go often and have fun stopping by their sites to have a gritty conversation with the guys digging up holes in rich peoples’ backyards. It’s a fun way to get away from what you’re currently doing.
That’s not to mention all of the other Connecticut pool contractors and other contractors I tend to run into on a regular basis. They are everywhere, as is likely the case in most every populated area – they tend to make the world keep growing and that’s an important role. They are also slightly less attached to any one job and seem to have a general, deep interest and enjoyment in their jobs. They work very hard, but the work is not nearly as stressful or overwhelming as the guy who is crunching vital numbers up the street and will be fired if he messes up the books.
