My Brother Is The Man with the Van
By Leads on Jan 9, 2008 in Automotive
My brother moved back to the area about 2 years ago, after he graduated from High School. His goal was to take a break from the usual grind of a student’s life and start spending a bit more time working on some of his lesser-known talents – painting, writing, and delivering baked goods across town.
I don’t judge him for taking a little time off by any means. I did the same thing when I was his age – I stepped away from the busy world of getting ahead and just relaxed for a year. I eventually went back to college though and finished things up. Here’s hoping he does the same.
Regardless, I have a love affair with his delivery van – the one baking company lets him drive around during the week. The vehicle sports the fanciest, French style vinyl lettering with three massive window graphics across the back window and one of the largest magnetic car signs I have ever seen on a van before. That puppy could take down a cell station from half a mile away.
It’s kind of funny to always bug my brother to borrow his hokey looking work van on weekdays when he has it with him; especially because of the three year old Nissan sitting in my driveway, but it’s fun to flash back to the good old days and tool around town with a vehicle that could crush anything in its way.
